The KidzConference 2021 'Frontup4impact'

The Fresh Az Education KidzConference...

This conference aims to engage the local community with its students. It aims to create a 'contributing ethos' - where making an impact within a community is just 'a norm'.

There are opportunities where both presenters and students alike can connect, collaborate, create and contribute. While this is a day conference only, it's NOT just a one day focus...

The KidzConference offers a wealth of other opportunities beyond the day, from new clubs within the community to interactive contact with students from other schools and beyond New Zealand.

Aims

Timing

8.00am-8.30am: Registration
Arrive anytime during this time, to collect identification lanyards and conference support bags. Tables will be set up in school-based alphabetical order for the collection of student conference gear.

8.30am-3.00pm: Keynotes and Workshops
The Powhiri and 4 Spotlight presentations from stage open the day together.

Workshops follow between 9.30am-2.30pm, on site and out 'n about via bus. The day will end back together, with prizes, feedback & farewells.

3.00-3.30pm - 4.30pm: Trade & Enterprise Stalls
Parents / Caregivers are to collect students from the Copthorne, and can then mix 'n mingle amongst a handful of Trade and Enterprise Stalls.

These stalls will add further insight for families to be inspired by (to run one next year),  sign-up to or learn a little more from.

There'll be kids with Youth Enterprise Stalls. Many of these are examples of those found in school mini-markets run in schools adopting Learn-Now programmes.

The ability to sign up for new afterschool KidzClubz and even our new KidzConnectz programme will be available also.
